Adobe Flash is the worst….
I always hope my inability to sleep will lead to some level of productiveness. Sadly, it never seems to. Just coffee dependence.
I like the smell of pizza in my car when driving home to eat it. I don’t like it when it lingers, and stills smells the next morning.

Music That Makes You Dumb →
I don’t know how why I haven’t seen this before. This guy Virgil Griffith created this website that shows the correlation between your favorite artist or band, and SAT scores.
Here’s how he did it (for those that are curious):
Get a friend of yours to download, using Facebook, the ten most frequent “favorite music” at every college via that college’s...

Cost of living: Compare prices in two cities -... →
(via CNN) Here’s an interesting tool to help determine cost of living in in places you were thinking about moving to, compared to where you live now. Bottom line: it’s cheap to live in Austin. Plus, SXSW every year!
Installed tweetdeck for iPhone. Seems kind of complicated. Feels like CNN Headline News for Twitter.

CardStar Creates Scanner-Friendly Bonus Cards on...
(Via Lifehacker)
The (currently) free CardStar app replaces keychain tags and wallet-cluttering bonus/discount/rewards/”shopper’s club” cards with scanner-friendly barcodes. If you’ve got the gumption to flash a phone instead of swipe your plastic, it could be a real space saver. We’ve posted and suggested manual scan-and-save tactics to slim down your wallet with...

Move Your iTunes Library to an External Hard Drive... →
Lifehacker has a video up that allows you to move your iTunes library to an external hard drive. It’s good for two reasons: 1) You never know what’s going to happen, and you don’t want to lose all of that (ahem) legally procured media. 2) It allows you to free up hard disk space on your internal drive to make room for more applications and other things.

Panasonic breaking more arbitrary records with two... →
From Engadget
Another day, another couple of Panasonic HD camcorders. This pair may not be the make the same “world’s lightest” (with an asterisk) claims as the entrants we saw yesterday, but eachsports a dubious record of their own. First is the HDC-TM30 (pictured after the break), another “world’s lightest” cam, this one with the caveat that, at 227 grams,...

Because I feel so strongly about The Sound of Young America and the level to which it raises the bar for interview, I made this nice little video with my pal, radio host Jesse Thorn, to share my love and appreciation and to help Jesse nudge listeners to give a little this pledge drive season to support amazing content. Maximum Fun, y’all.
